I hope this will be improved over time, it is in any case this has stopped my desire to buy (besides the price a bit much for what I consider, therefore, I hope +++. it feels more life to this level with the samples, and we are still far in all cases the printing game on a real piano sound in terms of rendering. The only downside for me, the sound itself, which is still a chouilla digital (still better than a digital piano, I owned a yam p90). It's also nice to load the piano in 2 seconds while a bank will take three samples of lead, also nice not to stumble on consumption processor / memory large banks of samples.

The expression is excellent, you feel a fairly natural playing, as opposed to sampled pianos I've experienced (mostly artvista and banks free sample played with samplers).
I played with the demo some time, participated in forums, posted a demo file to listen to history. But there are so many regular synth vst’s that have piano’s just like this there really isn’t even a reason to buy this if you can buy one of those vst’s and get some synths with it. The Modartt Pianoteq was created a few years ago so maybe that’s why there are some small issues with it but they may have upgraded it by now or released a new version of it. If you want a great piano then look in some of the other high end virtual piano’s that are on the market. If you havent used anything piano plug ins you probably wont understand what im saying but if you want a good piano than this will work for you.

Plus when I was searching I couldn’t find a free trial version of this so buying it made me a little upset after words and I wasn’t a happy customer. It opens very easy and loads quick, I really wouldn’t say that this is the best Piano plug in or even compared to the best piano plug in because there are so many of them out that sound so much more natural. That’s because it’s not a big program or vst at all. Some good things about it is that its vey light on your cpu and doesn’t use much. It didn’t give me the wow factor and it was more like a typical vst. Like if you where using Kontakt or some other vst and it had a piano section, that’s kind of what this felt like. But its more like a plug in within a plug in if you know what I mean. Second, you will have a lot of control over the sounds and the way the piano’s sound. On top of this, its spectrum profile editor lets you adjust each overtone for each note, bringing you thousands of sound combinations that will help you finding your own unique instrument.With the Modartt Pianoteq I came to realize a few things with it, first of the sounds are great and there is no denying that. The note editor is designed so that you can work with it effectively - it saves you time and increases your creativity. You can also turn any Pianoteq instrument into a multi-instrument by using advanced keyboard splits for up to 105 notes (concerns instruments with extended octave range). By using its powerful Note Edit feature, you are able to adjust physical parameters for specific ranges, and even note by note.
